DEI assessment establishes DEI baseline for hospital

Challenge:
A regional hospital’s senior leadership team didn’t have an accurate picture of where it stood on DEI from workforce, workplace and marketplace perspectives. Thus, the team was stuck and didn’t know what to do next to truly advance its DEI efforts.

Solution:
Schabel Solutions developed and executed a DEI assessment of the hospital’s staff, board and patients to establish a baseline and uncover immediate next steps.

Results:
We conducted the DEI assessment, analyzed and reported key results to the senior leadership team. We concluded that as next steps, the hospital needed to overhaul its current DEI strategy to address previously unidentified opportunities and gaps in workforce, workplace and marketplace. The senior leadership team walked away with a clear understanding of the hospital’s current state of DEI and next steps regarding the development of a more robust DEI strategy.
